TOUR MANAGEMENT
The director and staff of Star have built up a very strong reputation within the music and TV industry and are looking to build on the Star brand and reputation.
We have worked with some of the biggest names in TV, music and film and can offer full tour management services. From advancing shows to dealing with the full production of shows. We take pride in our tour managers being SIA licensed to at least Door Supervisor level, giving you that added peace of mind when on the road or at a venue.
We offer a range of vehicles from Mercedes S and V-Class' to splitter vans.
ROAD MANAGEMENT / SECURITY DRIVERS

On top of our tour management services, we offer the slightly different service of security drivers. These drivers pick you/your act up from their home or hotel, or any given location, drive them to the venue/event and walk them to the dressing room/hotel/venue and stage. It gives the act that little bit of reassurance rather than a taxi driver just sitting outside for an hour or two outside the venue wasting money. The drivers will also accompany the act on stage offering a personalised service. The drivers are all SIA licensed and more often than not are Close Protection Officers offering that extra peace of mind when in or around a venue or location, leaving the act to concentrate on their show or setting up their equipment.

FULL PRODUCTION
We have a warehouse stacked full of equipment to add that extra bang to your production! From CO2 powered T-Shirt guns to over 12m2   of the latest P4 LED wall via 'cold pyro', full line array system and everything inbetween.
Having worked at a sound, lighting and production company before finding his feet in the industry, Mark, and additionally Colin, have the skills and knowledge to work alongside you or your client to provide the complete in-house service to put on a show and production to your exact specification.
We can supply everything from radio mics to full stage shows and even build sets and transport services between shows.
ARTIST / FESTIVAL ADVANCING
Having attended festivals around the world, we have noticed that one of the biggest issues facing festivals and artists is the advancing, accreditation and artist liaison. Whilst we do accept there are some exceptional companies out there, more often than not, their services are either too expensive or often thought to be an unnecessary cost burden. Pooling our knowledge of both attending and working on festivals, we can offer a fully bespoke service to both artist and festivals. We work with many artists advancing every one of their shows and supplying a comprehensive itinerary taking the stress and worry out of dealing with and negotiating with venues/promoters. We are currently working with a large festival to supply their complete artist advancing, accreditation and artist liaison services.

ABOUT US

Having built up an enviable reputation within the tour management industry, the director and staff have decided to build on the ever growing reputation of the Star brand and take the Star name into the tour management world.

Mark set up Star Protection Services over 15 years ago supplying licensable staff to the private security industry. In that time, the Star name has gained a very strong and respected reputation. 

Mark himself has been in the security and licensed trades for over 25 years and progressed into Tour Management after working as personal security for many well known individuals. 

Before establishing himself in the security and tour management industry, Mark worked for a sound, lighting and production company. This has allowed him to be able to put his hand to any given task and also offer that experience to clients enabling Star to offer a complete in-house service from production to personal security - A very bespoke service and one not offered as standard across the industry.

Mark has worked around the world with some very famous names and faces and hopefully 2026 will see Mark and the team build on a successful and busy 2025! 

Jay has been with both Star Touring and Star Protection since their inception and has built up a wealth of experience within the industry after starting on the doors of pubs and clubs in his local town before advancing into CP and tour management.

Jay's journey into tour management evolved from being involved with the security of various TV shows, outside broadcasts and various media talent, often just as security driver/CP.


From that came book, album and various other types of signings/appearances, which ultimately lead to a natural progression into tour management.


Having the security background also gives the clients the reassurance that they have more than just a TM and also that they are safe in the knowledge that if anything were to go wrong, it can be dealt with immediately, efficiently and safely.


Jay has worked at all levels of festivals, clubs and stadiums, from watching gates to stadium/event safety officer level, again offering a wealth of insight and knowledge into the workings of all types of events and venues, allowing the client to be assured that they will be in safe hands.
